Peutz-Jeghers syndrome is a condition characterized by the three cardinal feature: gastrointestinal polyposis, mucocutaenous pigmentation and inheritance through a Mendelian dominant trait. We experienced a case of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome combined
with
anal prolapse of the polyp in Department of Surgery, Yonsei University, Wonju College of Medicine. The patient showed multiple pigmentation in buccal mucosa, lips, palms and soles and had multiple harmatomatous polyps in duodenum, small and large
bowel.
Prolapsed anal polyp was originated from transverse colon. He was treated surgically without problem. So we report this case with review of the literature.
